Cause it's the most popular thing they do.. sadly you have to be quick to get them
Mmmm I don't think they take reservations especially when its busy
If I could give 0 stars, I would give 0 stars.I am sensitive about pork as it is forbidden in my belief. Even though my wife is Korean and order was given in Korean, instead of chicken cutlet they brought us pork cutlet!!! And they told us that after more than half is eaten !!!If your workers cannot separate what is pork or chicken and bring customers wrong order, do not do this business!!! I am extremely disappointed. I strongly recommend to avoid this place. Specifically if you have sensitivities or allergies, they may serve you something other than you ordered...!!!I cannot believe this place is a popular place... This all happened after driving all the way from Oakville to eat their food and waiting like 25 minutes to get a table... Amateurs!!!
AWESOME EXPERIENCE !Due to pandemic, they have social distance in-store and just allow a consistency customers to come in. It makes me feel extremely safe while you're enjoying your meal. I ordered a Mool Naengmyun and Kimchi Jjim for my dinner. It is authentic Korean cuisines and really YUMMY. And it could be a best combo for you to try. Kimchi is delicious and different from other stores I've tried before.Staffs are friendly and check your table sometimes if you need something. The owner also walk around to ask you friendly if you want something else
Oh dear. You gotta try this! Did the UberEats given everything is closed. The pork bone soup is one of the best in the area. Bibimbap was really good - recommended. Then there's the Oo Geo Jee Guk - don't know how to spell it, but again, another winner. Will give this place another try. it's like hitting the jackpot dish after dish. Looking forward to rolling the dice again.
This place is great! Affordable rates, big portions and the employees are always very friendly.
1 of the best Pork Bone Soups I've had. Broth was more clear and very tasty. Lots of pork bones, definitely more than other places. The kimchi plates were good too, spicey and fresh. I'm not Korean, but my Korean friends recommend this place, so this must be good authentic eats!
Great food, great service. Date night was great eating at Cho Sun Ok. We shared a hot pot with some appetizers. The service made us feel comfortable however the food will bring us back. For those who may have a problem with non typical ingredients I would look at their menu before going. However all I can say is the food is great.
Best cold noodle soup in toronto! Even kimchijim was great. Just miss size of kimchijim. Large Size was rlly small. Small size is good for one and large is good for two lol
Tried their cold noodles for the first time and had a great experience. The noodle was nice and chewy, and the soup had a lot of flavour. The prices are fairly standard and I would definitely come back.
Not my type of food, def are known for their organs/sausages/cold slush noodles. But the food was still enjoyed by everyone who was adventurous enough to try/were regulars. And the service was amazing. Very friendly! Convenient spot, parking available.
They have good food, and the staff and owner are very nice. IMO, they have the best gamjatang (pork bone soup) in the area (read further for more details about the soup itself).Best gamjatang (pork bone soup) I've had by far. Meat was fall-off-the-bone tender; broth was amazing, there was a nice herby hint to it that I haven't picked up from others (other restaurant's). If I HAD to criticize it, it could have been more spicy. However, I did not ask if I could get mine on the spicy side so the fault is mine. It's a must try!Edit: you can call in to reserve a table if you don't want to wait. And you have to understand that COVID safety precautions may affect your experience, but that's our new normal. They're doing great with keeping themselves and their guests as safe as possible, and they're taking the COVID safety precautions seriously (as one should!). Personally, I did not feel that I was in any health risk.
Great service, very busy, but worth the wait ( ~ 20 min wait). I have revisited this restaurant over 5 times. Cold noodles are very flavourful. Kalbi beef is sometimes difficult to chew. Hotpot is decent. One of the best places in town to satisfy an authentic Korean food craving.
Great food. Extremely busy so be prepared to wait. Cold noodles on a hot summer day is the best!
The service was 5/5!!! Our server was very warm and kind upon entering. The place was very clean and felt like entering a nice home. We ordered the Soon Tofu and Bi Bim Bap which are 2 staples and both of them absolutely delicious and came out very quickly even though it was quite busy. Definitely recommend this place as it tastes different from other korean restaurants. Price was very fair as well. Only bad thing I'd say is their side dishes werent very appetizing but points for having different kinds. Definitely will be coming back again soon!!
Food is always amazing, it's just that boss's son never smile so well to customer and rude. I think who works there as waitress smiles better even though I haven't seen them smile so well. I think they gotta improve their customer service because food is not everything 😂
Great korean restaurant with fair pricing and variety of good authentic foods. There is a bit of a line up so waiting in line is probably to be expected unless you call in for reservation. Customer service is good and decent but some may find it bad depending on how busy it is. Your food wait time is above average wait time due to many customers unless you get there when not busy. If they improve on the staff management and hire more kitchen staff and waitresses, I would give it a 4.5 star. For now it is 3. Interior is below average so I dropped a star for that one, but the food is great.
Prices are above average but they have dishes that are not available in other Korean restaurants. Service is courteous.
One of the most well organized Korean restaurants in North America. Rice bowl with veggie was yummy and cold noodles served with bbq were also excellent. They have a variety of food options. Friendly staff and nice seats. Good for family meal!
I love their 비빔냉면. The noodles and sauce are great. So refreshing and cool on hot days. Also, enjoyed their 갈비탕 (galbi soup).
Excellent service, clean and employees are very kind and respectful. New kimchee recipe is amazing!
The best Korean restaurant I have ever been to, and I have been to hundreds worldwide. I have been here over 50 times myself, and its has ALWAYS been consistent quality. You will not regret coming here. It is no wonder it was rated the best Korean restaurant in Toronto! 6 stars out of 5!
This place is good except of the fact that you must tip otherwise they ask you why we did not tip hehe...
We had to wait for a table, for our group of four, for about 15 minutes on Saturday around noon. We all, including our Korean friends, agreed that the food was excellent! Service was also exceptionally good. Large portions, good price... Other than the wait, no part of our experience was negative!
This place is my favorite restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place. Whenever I I need a good meal, this is the place that comes instantly to my mind. splendid and all kinds of food and a large list of dishes.great staff members, and good ambience. Not less important, the expence is reasonable. I sent my friends to this restaurant with no doubt.
Love it here! Bustling place with great food and great service. Their pork bone soup (Gamjatang) is to die for, one of the best I ever had. Wasn't too spicy though, but was good nonetheless. Will definitely be back!
One of the best Korean restaurant I've ever visited. The food is great and every time I go the restaurant is very busy.
I can imagine that parking in this plaza isn't the greatest experience as there are plenty of restaurants and not a lot of parking spots. Luckily, there was someone leaving as we got there. There was quite the lineup out the door on a holiday Saturday night. It actually wasn't too long of a wait for a table of 2, about 20 minutes. Service is efficient and timely so you're not left waiting long for anything. The side dishes were a bit lacklustre for me. I've had better sides dishes at other Korean restaurants. We got the Army stew which was just the right about amount for the 2 of us. In fact, I hardly ate any of my rice and got it to go. There was a balanced amount of veggies and meat in the stew. When the stew is put onto the table the server uses the ladle to remove a bowl full of the soup. This soup gets added back later on when soup is running low.
I give 4 star since the dishes are a bit pricy compare to other places. However I really enjoyed their food.
Fast service. Quite good food. Friendly staff.
It is one of my favorite Korean restaurants in GTA
This restaurant was recommended by my Korean coworker. It’s authentic Korean food, thumbs up. It’s a little bit pricey but quality and quantity is good, restaurant set up is comfortable and clean. Must try!
Tried this place once with a friend and I am addicted ever since. I enjoyed the awesome mood and delicious dishes and drinks. Great work.
famous in cold noodles
Great korean dishes. abit pricey but could be worth it if u know exactly what u are getting. The customer service, however, is 5 star. The friendliest staff ever. Would come back again Solely for the service!
Great food for the amount that was spent. I would def come back here to have lunch again. I thought that the location was also key, I loved coming here. I would come back again in the near future .
Used to be great place. When it got famous and got really busy - always line up. Good food quality, but seems the atmosphere needed to be rushed out since there are a lot of people waiting.
I ate so many Korean restaurants in Toronto, and Cho Sun Ok is my Top number 1!!!The service is excellent and the food is so delicious!!!😍 I’ve been so many times!
We ordered the beef and octopus hotpot for two people. It was delicious. Please be reminded to turn off the heat after it finished boiling as the soup will be evaporated if you don't.
5 STARS!! This restaurant is definitely my favourite Korean restaurant in GTA. Their service is always great and the restaurant is clean and comfortable. But the best part is their food! I love their dwenjang jigae, yuk kae jang, and katsu a lot! Their side dishes are also really good. Definitely give this restaurant a try if you haven’t been.
One of my go to Korean restaurants in North York! Love all their stews. Very flavourful and the quality is good. Giving it a 4/5 stars only because their service could be a bit better. I brought my bfs family here once and the owner wasn’t willing to accommodate our group and the grandma was in a wheelchair so it was an inconvenience to have to go elsewhere.
I remember my first (and last visit as well). It was boiling summer day and I ordered naeng-myun. The food was okay. I forgot tips as I paid with cash feeling passed out due to weather and lack of sleep. Then, a lady yelled at me “why didn’t you pay tips? Why? You don’t like our food?” she repeated again and again. It was pretty rude. Some was my mistake but still the lady shouldn’t have said like that. Almost traumatized.
So good! Every time 🤩😋 love their jiggae
The food is constantly fresh and yummy, employees hands over awesome service. I love how neat it is and character. I highly recommend this spot.
My favourite dish here is buddaejjigae (army stew). My hubby and I always get this dish when we come. It's pretty expensive for what it is ($38.99 for instant noodles, sausage, spam, chicken and vegetables in a spicy broth). We still really enjoy it and it's not something that's available at all Korean restaurants.
This restaurant offers great service and yummy meals. One of the best place in the city. The meals arrived rapidly and the prices are economical. Recommended.
My favourite korean restaurant of all times.I have been to many Korean restaurants, but this one would be my favourite one.The restaurant is always packed, so there is a waiting time unless you go in really early, as soon as it opens. But it's worth the wait. The food is very delicious, the presentation is neat.Love this restaurant!
The food always fresh and tasty...Staffs and the owners are very friendly. You are never disappointed..We went to this restaurant over 5 years !! Highly recommended !!
Best cold noodle place I had in Toronto. Big portion. Service is great.
Food pretty good but not awesome. Good service though. And washrooms very clean!!
We ordered number 12 cold needle & no. 29 rice stone bowl. I can grantee that the taste is remarkably delicious and super real Korean!!! Although it really takes time to wait for line, it’s definitely worth it!!! Furthermore, the snacks dishes are all good as well!! Without a doubt, the service attitude is also excellent and enthusiastic!! The most essential thing is the price so so so reasonable and much cheaper than what I expected!! Let’s go to try it!!
My family and I love coming here. There's always a line but it's worth it. Try it if you haven't yet!
